Had a fantastic intern meeting this morning – great discussions and community today. The assignment from last week was to bring a real-life ministry scenario and then brainstorm on ways to respond correctly. It was a fantastic exercise that led to awesome discussion and guidance on how to handle these sensitive situations. Here’s a few examples:

1) As an intern/volunteer you disagree with the high school pastor on a situation and the executive pastor comes to you and also disagrees. How do you respond?

2) Your married female secretary is making advances on a couple of male volunteers. How do you handle the situation? Do you say anything? Do you confront alone? Do you wait for confirmation yourself?

Might be something to use with your volunteers next meeting!
