Lark News comes through with news of the untimely demise of the fohawk for youth pastors. Funny stuff there this month if you haven’t read it yet.
A youth group experimenting with democracy recently held its first vote — and voted down the youth pastor’s fauxhawk. “It looked awful on his head,” says Emma, 14. “There should be an age limit of, like, 28 on fauxhawks.”
The youth pastor says he was “humbled and surprised” that feelings about his hairstyle ran so high, and he is making plans to get a haircut. “That’s what you get when you let the people speak,” he says.
He’s hoping they don’t start voting down his sermons.

i read this one too, found it quite funny. The only problem is, my kids prefer for me to have a fauxhawk. I’m not that partial to it, but the kids insist that i do it from time to time
I had a fauxhawk for the Ichthus festival and i haven’t cut it off yet. I am 28 years old, so I guess this is the last year for it.
