I got to give a “best man speech” today at a wedding for a great friend here in the Midwest. Here’s a few of the lines I wrote about him:

• I’m proud of you.
• There’s one thing has always been a constant with you: your purity. What and honorable and rare gift you get to give away tonight (as a wedding present to his wife he gave her his purity ring).
• To all the single women out there tonight, there are still good guys out there. But there is one less tonight.
• My hope is that you will age gracefully, always be in style …. and love God and each other for a lifetime.
