at least it’s a couple days later in the month…perhaps fewer chances for breaking cars in the ice and snow…
I’m in! In fact, I can’t wait.
By the way, remember that 70-75% of the attendees this year drove??? THAT is why they are doing it in Ohio again! It enables the most to be able to afford it.
As long as it is in the USA, I’m there!!! Let’s go a day early to have a mini reunion!!!
So, did people enjoy this? I’ve never been, but I am a fan of SYM and Group, so I thought about going next year…

Why do we enjoy this? Two words. “LOVE SACS!” .. No. seriously dude.. you gotta go. Fellowship, Refreshing, Networking, .. and just chillin’ out with fellow youth workers is the perfect thing. Resources gallore, and meeting new (and old) people was just the thing I needed. This past year was my first one, and I will be back!
Love Sacs, eh? I don’t know if those would be the first words I use in going before my church board…
I guess I’ve always been a NYWC guy – mainly by default. So, maybe I’ll check this one out next year, too…
Columbus in February? Josh, Josh, Josh, don’t you have any “pull” with these guys? Amazing what a few hundred miles SOUTH could do – most could still drive and most would miss out of the horrors of ice, snow and CALIFORNIA DRIVERS who can’t even drive outta the airport without wrecking!!
Nashville, Louisville, Memphis, et al. Keep heading SOUTH on I-65 and not north.
Will 2010 be in Buffalo?
Josh, we should take a poll on your blog about the top cities to host NYMC in the future. After the phone call from you guys in the back of the police car after your “sledding mishap” (so wish you had the viedo camera on hand) I agree we need to head south in the future! The NYMC team will be looking at 2010 locations soon–trying to keep it in prime driving distance for most folks, and out of the snow belt! (hoping to avoid tornadoes, hurricanes, wildfires and tsunamis too..)

Maybe you should consider California for a future conference. Although “we” can’t drive without wrecking, there aren’t any tornadoes, hurricanes or tsunamis, mostly just bad drivers…lol. Oh by the way, you better bring your own water, we’re running out.
