Josh GriffinMore PostsWhere to Find Good Videos

I’m a big fan of YouTube.com and ripping them with Vixy, but I’ve also found some great videos on Worship House Media, Sermon Spice, Simply Youth Ministry and Groove Films. I’m a big fan of Wing Clips as well – where do you get your media for your youth services?

  1. I have used ministry and media, but you have to own, buy or rent to get the clip from the movie. I have also used http://www.bluefish.com but they can be expensive, I usually go for the free stuff of course. Skit guys is another I have found.
Tommy and Eddie a classic, yet they bring the point home.
    Jon B.

  2. I to am a huge fan of using YouTube video’s for a good on stage laugh. Quality is always so so but no one expects great quality from a YouTube video. I use Tubesock to rip the videos. Tubesock is pretty cheap 20 bucks and 50 for a group or family license. It also now works for both Mac and Windows plus you can download a trial version for free. Good product and super easy to use.

  3. I use iTunes, Netflix, and my personal DVD library.

  4. The ones you mentioned – plus Igniter Media and Blue Fish.

  5. Highway video is good…kind of expensive

  6. i like ‘the work of the people’ but you can find their videos on other sites as well. do to some work on a large conference this summer i pretty much had them pay for the yearly membership which gives unlimited downloads.

after that, it’s youtube.. if i can’t find it there, it probably isn’t out there. longer videos on google video, but they are not as helpful for youth services

  7. Godtube.com its the jesus spin off of you tube.
it has some pretty good stuff, and is one of the fastest growing websights on the net today.

  8. Thanks for the Vixy link. I have spent the last 2 days ripping all kinds of videos for future use.

  9. Love Youtube. I use Zamar for conversion (it does more than just video. it also does images/audio/documents)

  10. Sorry…I misspelled it is Zamzar.com
