Josh GriffinMore PostsTexts to Screen During the Weekend Service

We’re on week 2 (of 3) of the One Month to Live series this weekend and said that if you really had 30 days to live you would figure out who were the most important people in your life and spend your last days with them. We even pushed “pause” during the teaching for a few minutes and asked the students to text someone who is truly significant in their life, right then and there.

Students also were asked to CC in an additional number we put up on the screen, and told them we would use their texts later on in the service. The moment passed, and after playing a short video clip we had them back focused on the talk and not their phones.

Then about 15 minutes later during the closing song, when most people had forgotten about the texts, we had an extended instrumental part in the song where we flashed a bunch of their text messages on screen. It was a very cool moment …
