that’s funny…our house has been 100% game-free for 13 years, and we finally decided to get a Wii for Christmas this year! The kids are so excited they don’t have fight over who plays tetris on my cell phone anymore!
is this something that we can bet money on? because I would really like to place a wager…

Wow! I’m a bit speechless. A month I could understand or 40 days but a year. hmmmm…. this should be interesting.
I sold my X-Box 360 about a year ago and I have survived. We did get a Wii, but I only play it with my oldest son, and I barely do that. You are a much bigger gamer than I was so you may just melt without your system. Who knows, maybe they will legalize Marijuana in the meantime and you will have something to help you through the struggle
I used to use the original xbox a lot and now have a Wii that is rarely played… I think I just prefer reading or going outside a lot more than I used to.
What prompted the negotiations??

my understanding, ( and I have to admit i have no real understanding) is that it started when Josh asked his wife to call him by his gamer name.
can you still work with youth and do this??? is it even legal to go a whole year without video games?

I only play Guitar hero or at events with youth where we play rock band. Make sure you build that in.

We covered fasting and I did video games for a week. Since then I cut my play time down significantly. I am however still playing. Typically only World of Warcraft and typically only after sermon prep is finished. But I did go from 15hrs a week to 4. I’ve been the better for it. I say we auction your Xbox with the money going to the Help a hurting Youth Pastor fund.

Um, thanks, now you ruined my life, T wants me to negotiate.
Since I met my business partner and I have resellers that all play we actually meet online in Xbox Live play games and talk about issues and customers etc. It is not going to happen. Actually I was about to buy another 360 for upstairs again next to the Wii!
So is this a new trend for you, will we have 365 days instead of 30 days of, or 40 days of?
