One of the best uses of Facebook marketing yet. Flame broil 10 of your virtual “friends” for a free Whopper. Would make for a great (and tasty) illustration for a talk on friendship.

Ok, I’m a positive person 99% of the time… but this cute little BK ad needs to be called out for what it is: just another gimmick.
It’s cute, it’s effective for a few referral click… but its nothing but a gimmick. It doesn’t make me want to eat a Whopper. It doesn’t make me think Burger King is a good company.
It’s just the Class Clown making another stupid joke… (I know this tactic from experience.)
Sad, considering how lame their over-advertised “Angry Whopper” tastes. Of course, I haven’t checked my Facebook friend count yet today…
So this is why I lost 10 friends today! Thanks BK!
hey i have at least 10 friends on my friends list that i would knock off for a free whopper. i just confirm some people because im too nice and dont want to hurt their feelings. of course i guess im not so nice that i wont delete them for a free burger lol. too bad i cant get it to load right for some reason lol
I was stoked to get rid of some fake ‘friends’ for a free whopper but apparently facebook isn’t too happy. They disabled the application after over 200k friends were sacrificed.
