We had some things stolen from our house a month ago. Some people were cleaning for us and when we got back about $3,000 worth of stuff was gone – most notably all of my wife’s jewelry and an iPod. Today we got a call from the investigator asking us to come down to the station and hopefully identify some of what was potentially our property.
The good news is they recovered some of her jewelry and caught the people responsible! The search warrant was executed Friday and we had our stuff back today, which is incredible by anyone’s standards. The most valuable goods (wedding ring, purity ring, etc) were already fenced and gone, but we’re happy that things are relatively settled.
Crazy month for us, weird to bring it all back up today after a month of silence and pretty much writing it all off. So some good news for sure!
