Not to original but it works great in our setting! Obviously PDYM based.
“The purpose of Heart, Soul, and Mind Student Ministry is to Reach non-believing junior high and high school students, to Connect them with other Christians, to help them Grow in their faith, and to challenge the growing students to discover their God given Mission and to Honor God with their lives.”

  2. We do student community groups with adult mentors so ours is as follows…”Spiritually maturing adults spiritually mentoring students.”

  3. To lead students into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

  4. “leave no one alone and leave no one out”

  5. “All types of students discovering and following Jesus”

  6. Love God. Love People. Love Service.

That’s our goals, purpose and vision all in one.

  7. Canoe Creek Student Ministry exists to meet the spiritual needs of students and develope them into lifelong disciples of Christ.

  8. The name of our ministry is DEVIATE STUDENT MINISTRY – we are intentionally designed to reach and disciple junior high, high school, and young adult students. Our name and all that we do within our ministry flows through our signature verse which is Romans 12:2.

Our core values serve as our missions statement, purpose, and process for reaching and disciplining students. We desire that the students we engage would come to KNOW GOD, LOVE PEOPLE, and SERVE OTHERS.

KNOW GOD // EVANGELISM – WORSHIP
LOVE PEOPLE // DISCIPLESHIP – FELLOWSHIP
    SERVE OTHERS // MINISTRY

Some may not feel it necessary to have a mission statement for their student ministry or they may just adopt what their church has in place. I would suggest developing a specific mission and vision for your ministry and share it often. Reading the book SIMPLE CHURCH real helped me see the value in having something specific in place.

    Hope this helps some one!
