6 Websites I Visit Everyday

Josh on March 30th, 2008

After the popularity of the post 6 Magazines I Read Every Month last week, I thought I would extend the franchise to include websites I visit everyday. This doesn’t include RSS feeds and the like (maybe that’s next week), these are physical webpages I visit for one reason or another. Here we go:

DrudgeReport.com – Political news, unusual stories. Everything breaks here and if somehow it doesn’t, Drudge quickly gets up to speed and dominates the big news outlets. It doesn’t have feeds, it has a terribl(y) simple design, but I’ve been reading it every day for years and you won’t stop me.

AintItCool.com – A silly fansite for movies. Been following it everyday for years back when it was just a baby, despite some rough-around-the-edges language and the fact that it is really cheesy in the design department. That’s part of the charm, I guess? On the flip side, Harry’s a big geek with a pile of movie cred behind his name.

YouthMinistry.com - I troll this bad boy for great articles every day as well. I like the design and the amazing number of youth ministry articles this baby puts out. Full disclosure – I’m part of that machine, so I guess this is patting me on the back as well as patting some friends on the back. Either way, I still really like it.

Wired.com – Wired’s website, like the amazing print magazine, is a generation future force to be reckoned with. Amazing stories, great design, and plenty of web exclusives give you reason to both buy the magazine and make the webpage a daily stop. So good.

Engadget.com – all things geeky toys you can handle. They’re the first to break news and reviews of major electronic stuff. I like little gadgets and toys, so this is the right place to read about them first.

YouTube.com – A quick check of the most played videos every day just to stay relevant. I love pop culture, and often there’s a great illustration or funny clip for the weekend, too.

and throw a bone to your old man. But no, you’re too busy with druged and youtoo and places nobody’s heard of to visit your dad’s site.
