Being a huge fan of both Legos and Star Wars, this seems like a match made in Heaven, no?

Unfortunately, what we’ve got isn’t too much more than a repackaging of the first two games and a few levels tossed into the mix to keep it fresh. Having said that, everything that was great about the first 2 Lego games shines as brightly as ever, and the new characters, levels and challenges are more than welcomed. My boys and I tore through the basic game in about a week, but we’re still racking up achievements heading toward our goal of 100% completion of the game.

If you’ve got both of the original games the only reason you would want to pick this up is a) you’re a giant fan and you’re not calloused by all of the Star Wars “re-releases” over the years, or b) you wore out the original discs from playing them though so much last time around … like us. Brilliant, if familiar! A-

  1. Yeah, I saw on Xbox Live that you were playing this a lot. I thought the game was more for kids, but I guess not.
