Got a great response to the idea we’re doing for this current weekend series in HSM – we’re creating a student photograph mosaic called Project Mosaic. Each of the students is holding up a chalkboard with a word they hope describes their future, and we’ll take all of them into a mosaic program and generate a print piece/website for students to see. A ton of the pictures have already ended up on Facebook profiles as well. Love it!

We’re going to use AndreaMosaic, a free mosaic program that was recommended to us. If you did something similar already or used a different program, please leave a comment and help people make it a success!

  1. If you are on a Mac, I’ve used: http://homepage.mac.com/knarf/MacOSaiX/. It worked pretty well.

  2. I’ve used MozoDojo (Mac OS X) a few times – http://www.chachatelier.fr/programmation/mozodojo_en.php

  3. this is a great idea!
