How do you escape youth ministry?

I’ve always loved flying – my dream before my glasses grew thicker and thicker was to fly fighter jets for the Air Force. When that dream crashed and burned, I turned to radio controlled aircraft. The only problem? They’re incredibly expensive and require landing strips and special airfields that make it a once-in-a-great-while-never-really-get-around-to-it hobby.

Enter the Jet Scream. With $40 of last month’s birthday money, I picked up this little gem to help me escape more easily. No, it’s not the same as a full-size plane you build and tinker with for years – but it sure is a blast for 30 minutes at the community park. So fun!

Whatever it looks like for you – find a way to turn youth ministry off for a while.
