I am so glad to hear that – we actually measured our screen to be sure that it was under 55 inches so I wouldn’t have to feel guilty for doing something illegal with my kids. If I only had a less guilty conscience! Thanks for the info Josh!

Wow thanks for letting us know before this years……oh wait just in time for next year!! But don’t fool yourself… there is one thing the NFL is afraid of and that is the congress coming down on them so they loose their anti trust standing. But I am confused….. If I hold a big super bowl party at someones house and watch it on their big screen are we still breaking their policy? This whole thing is just crazy.

That’s good to hear. Being a rookie, I didn’t hear about that rule until oh about two weeks after our huge, largely publicized Super Bowl party. Just a note about halftime, we went to Sports Spectrum and showed a halftime dvd featuring LT with a clear Gospel presentation at the end. I’ve received pretty good feedback from that!

that’s good news. of course, a church should *still* probably be a little wary about the halftime show… and some of the commercials… and the quality of play by teams from the SF and Oakland areas…

It’s about time! We had church members crushed (and I mean threatening to start a petition crushed) that we couldn’t have our annual church wide party. This rule never made much sense to me in the first place. Kudos to common sense.
