What about “Hire a High School Guy” (so you can focus on JH ministry)? Why treat Junior High ministry like pseudo-Youth Ministry?

We just went through this process at my church. I had to hire a female counterpart. Already in the 4 months she has been on board, she has done wonders with our female leaders and girls – more than I have ever done or desired to do in my 6 plus years there. It is a real benefit to have a counterpart of the opposite sex.

can we please just have an admin? If I win the lottery or some distant rich relative leaves me their inheritance or I write a book that sells like crazy… the first thing I’m doing is buying an admin. assistant.

Hire someone? I’d just take the money we would offer someone else and double my own personal salary so that I could buy a boat. I didn’t see that option so here is my vote for it:

The question was meant to be hypothetical, as in what would you do, in your situation where you do know strengths, weakness, needs, etc. JG

With out knowing your strenghts and weekness’, the needs of your ministry, etc, etc, any vote would be pointless. As for me, I’d hire a Graphics / Video guy.
