so true.

In my reflections lately, i've begun to think that my blind spots are related to my thinking of how much students are entertained by what I do. They have a million things that are way more entertaining than what I can do. THey have xbox360 (the best gaming console), wii, youtube, tv, ipod, etc.

Sometimes i think our ministry is SO fun or SO engaging that students couldn't find anything better to do with 2 hours on a Sunday night.

No, students come because of something: God's getting at them, they love the connection, their friends are there, they get to escape home for a while, whatever.

Scary how much we miss when we are too focused on the task at hand. Tony seemed to hit the nail on the head there.
