Coke Freestyle Review

Hard to believe that a soft drink fountain deserves a review on the blog, but this thing is something to see in action. Like I posted about a month ago, Coke Freestyle is the next big thing in fountain drinks. Here’s what I thought of it – and it was so slick I’ve got a feeling they’ll be in your neck of the woods soon enough:

It was super simple and clear
Incredible selection, little wait time. About 100 different fountain drinks from this little machine. Just get some ice, press a few buttons, and push ‘pour’ and there it was in perfect precision. In fairness there was a slight lag in the user-interface, sometimes you would press a button then almost be ready to press it again as it popped up fine. It was minimal, just just enough to notice a few people experience the slight delay. So easy to navigate.

It made me want to test out a bunch of flavors
I started with Raspberry Coke. Then had a little Lime Coke. Strawberry Hi-C? Done. Then a chain reaction of flavored waters, sports drinks and back for a final burst of Orange Coke. I’m typically just a Coke Classic kinda guy myself, but with all those options … why not. I saw several people fill up their glases 1/2 way so they would have the excuse to go back up. The kids loved it … so did I … and a buddy of mine I bumped in to as well. Silly fun.

In short, an amazing piece of technology as much as it was great refreshment. Fun to see one test marketed out here, great experience, and no doubt everywhere in the near future.
