Social Network for Youth Ministry

on April 18th, 2008

I don’t have time to fully check this out, but I stumbled on Tuggle, which hopes to create people management of youth ministry by using online social network community. I like the idea thought and would be interested to see what the community here thinks about it. Interesting idea … though we’re pretty Facebook/MySpace here …

Wow. The guy who started it looks like some sort of evil genius or something…

That said, it looks pretty awesome – something that, if used intentionally, could be really useful. I’m thinking about using it more on my end for connecting and distributing information, rather than a facebook/myspace type of thing…

thanks for sharing.

Our youthgroup has been using Tuggle since Jan. It’s been a great resource in connecting with kids, especially if their parents won’t allow them to have facebook or Myspace. It’s safe and secure and nobody from outside your group can get in. We’ve been posting random messages, volunteer opps and even a selfish plea for chocolate ice cream (which…. sidenote… someone actually brought me… how great is THAT!) I love having a safe online community for all the kids… two thumbs up!
