i’ve pretty much been without TV my entire life, except for a couple years post college in an apartment with a few other guys. now that i have my own house, i’ve been back to being “tv-less” for 2 years and love it. of course with Hulu et al, it does make it easier to keep up on stuff you want to. and i love that i can make it fit my schedule as opposed to making my schedule fit to some tv’s schedule. i’d have a hard time justifying the $$ for tv with all of the stuff available online now.

we sorta’ started the same thing, almost 3 years ago. the only difference is we have a mac mini hooked up to the tv with an eyetv hdtv converter. eyetv has a dvr deal built in so we can record live tv and stream movies through netflix, hulu etc. boxee is a pretty sweet app unfortunately they just pulled hulu friday
